Dry-Out

A dry-out process should be performed before system commissioning to improve the quality of the applied refractory and monitor potential issues. Drying means removing water from the refractory at a controlled heating rate to prevent refractory damage that could occur due to rapid heating.

We perform dry-out applications with our professional technical team and equipment that meets international standards. Temperature measurements are taken from multiple points using thermocouples, and the system’s temperature distribution is kept under control. The thermocouples used for temperature control are calibrated and certified before each job. External combustion chambers are used where necessary to prevent direct flame contact with the refractory. During dry-out, our company provides the following services:

• Fuel tank supply
• Fuel line installation
• Power line installation
• Dry-out burner installation, maintenance, and operation
• Electronic control system setup
• Thermocouple and line provision
• Secondary air-fan installation when required
• Mechanical assembly operations necessary for dry-out
• Installation and operation of measurement, recording, and control systems
• Provision of fire protection and other safety equipment
• Maintenance of necessary material and equipment spare parts

After dry-out, documentation and final dry-out reports are prepared and delivered to you.

We also prepare custom drying procedures according to your needs.
